The Dumbocrats at their Finest!
Finally! Senate Democrats are flexing their muscles, folks. They're getting tough out there; they're showing backbone. They're breaking onions to prove they have... onions.
Three members of the Democrat Elite Strike Force -- John Kerry, Joe Biden, and Chris Dodd -- have authored a resolution, vowing to punish Pakistan (a staunch ally of ours) if Pakistan doesn't get tougher on terrorism. Democrats threaten to withhold delivery of the 18 new jet fighter planes promised to Pakistan, block the sale of 18 more, and back out of an agreement to refurbish 30 aircraft already in use by Pakistan's airforce.
Now, the Strike Force Leader John Kerry -- who served in Vietnam, by the way -- spoke for the group. He said: "We must never forget the importance of going after the terrorists before they strike[.]" Sha-zaam! Welcome to the swift boat! The war on terror has been going on for years and this guy wants a preemptive strike? (Isn't that why they... This is unbelievable!)
Still, it's momentous, folks. Here's the Democrat strategy to win the war on terror, in a nutshell: Abandon the battlefield where terrorists are fighting us -- in Iraq -- and instead, redeploy to attack our allies! Threaten to make Pakistan weaker, while demanding they step-up their efforts to fight terrorists... the same terrorists the Democrats want us to cut-and-run from!
I mean, this is the stuff of legend! Why, in years to come, this plan is going to be studied at every war college. Every war planner -- including those in Al-Qaeda -- will look to this moment as one in which America's elected liberals descended into absolute stupidity!
